  • Rovers/Rangers are 16-25 years old.

  • The minimum age requirement to be staff is 16.

When does registration open and close?

The preregistration for groups will open during the beginning of fall 2024. The individual registration will open later in the year. The registration will close during spring in 2025.

What does the camp cost?

The price of attending the camp will be published very soon!

Does my country need to make a contingent to attend?

International groups can attend the jamboree either as a single group, or part of a contingent. Some countries choose to establish contingents for the national jamboree to make organizing large numbers of participants easier, but it is not mandatory.

I want to be full-time staff during camp! What do i do?

We love to hear that! Information about international staff is being prepared. Staff-signup is at the same time as the ordinary registration.

How do we get there?

It’s easy! We recommend taking the train from Oslo Central Station to Gjøvik Station. It’s about a 2 hour ride north and tickets can be booked through Vy (Click here).

The closest airport is Oslo Airport (OSL). From there, you can use either Vy or the Airport Express Train (Flytoget) to Oslo Central Station, and take the train from there to Gjøvik.

You can also get here by car. Follow National Road 4 (Rv 4) north of Oslo or south from Lillehammer. The address is “Vestre Toten veg 513, 2817 Gjøvik“.

The camp is working on solutions to make sure everyone can get from the train/bus to the camp. More information to come!

What do we need to bring?

Of course you will have to bring your traditional jamboree equipment! A packing list suggestion for international groups and participants will be sent out.

What should we do in Norway while we’re there?

There’s lots to do! Getting around is easy. All public transportation itiniaries can be found on Entur. We recommend arriving here early to explore the bustling city of Oslo, the Olympic activities at Lillehammer or maybe explore the mountains while taking the Bergen Railway Line!

You can also use Visit Norway to find places you want to see. Our partner Visit Østlandet has lots of recommendations for the region surrounding the camp.
