Diet
The camp has its own team that will ensure a good menu for anyone with special dietary needs or allergies. Remember to register dietary requirements in the registration. This is the prerequisite for ensuring the right dietary food at camp. In each food delivery tent there is a separate diet department that you can contact if you have any questions. The diet department in the tents is open from 10.00-16.00 every day during the camp. Outside of this time, diet food is delivered via ordinary food distribution.

Drugs
All use of drugs is prohibited for all camp participants - including leaders and rovers. Violation may result in repatriation and possibly a police report.
Dugnad
A scout camp is a joint act of service. Everyone contributes in different ways so that everyone gets a good camp experience. In Norway we use the word "dugnad" for this.
Emergency services
Events that require the assistance of emergency services are notified on regular telephone numbers. Fire 110, police 112 and health 113. (For some users only 112 will work. If this is the case call this number for any emergency.) Notification of the camp's emergency telephone is made after notification of the emergency services.
Equipment
The packing list for individual scouts and the scout group can be found at landsleir.no/pakkeliste.
Evacuation
Evacuation will be carried out in collaboration with emergency services and the municipality. Each base has a meeting point that is used in the case of evacuation. Pay attention to push messages in the camp app and SMS.

There is no program offered in the family camp. If desired, you can eat bread meals in the family camp. Dinner is eaten together with the group.
Everyone who lives in the family camp must be registered participants. The family camp is not open to parents of participants who want to live near their scouts. For this you are referred to nearby campsites and/or hotels. See Hotent.
Fire
Use caution when using open flames. Always have two buckets of water and a fire extinguisher near fireplaces, so that fires and burns can be dealt with quickly. The fire service is notified by calling 110 (or 112 if 110 doesn't work from your phone), then the camp's emergency telephone.
Fire wood
There is wood ("bakhon") for campfires and cooking in the camp area. For cooking it is recommended to use gas.
Fireplace
There is an opportunity to make a fireplace in your own group area. Always keep two full buckets of water and fire extinguishers by the fire. Open fires are not permitted in buildings. Think safety! See Digging and Ignition sources.
First aid
First aid is initially provided by the group itself. Bring first aid equipment for everyone in the group. All patrols must carry simple first aid equipment for activities and at the hike. Speidernes beredskapsgruppe (The scouts' emergency group) will be visible in the camp and assist with first aid. For immediate help (danger to life and health), call 112. Then contact the camp's emergency telephone.
Flag and banner
All flags are raised at 08.00 and lowered at 21.00. Flags and banners should not be brought to the opening or closing campfires.
Food box
Everyone must bring their own food boxes to take the group's food from the food tent to their own camp area.
Food delivery
There are two food delivery tents. They are open from 07.00 - 22.30 every day during the camp. Tents for handing out diet food have their own opening hours. Most of the food for breakfast and lunch is self-service, so you can pick up several times. Think about the environment and don't bring more than necessary! See also the routine for food delivery.
You should note that each group must bring something to collect the food in, and note that wheelbarrows cannot be taken into the food delivery tent. To limit food waste, we ask that all groups bring their own spices. See spices.
If necessary, contact the staff at the delivery tents, we are here to give you as good a dining experience as possible.
Food leftovers
We have a strong focus on reducing food waste. Here are some simple tips to avoid food waste:
Do not take more than necessary! The delivery tents for food have long opening hours with self-service for bread and spreads. Collect often and little, rather than a lot and rarely.
Use the refrigerated containers or make sure the food is kept at a low temperature in another way.
Goods that other groups have not collected, or that we have too much of, will be offered on separate shelves at the food delivery tents.
For the sustainability badge one of the activities is to reuse leftovers. See suggestions for using leftovers in the bonus recipe suggestions.
Friendship campfire
The groups are encouraged to host a campfire together with one or more other groups to make new Scout friends.
Gas
The camp recommends using a gas appliance for cooking. AGA Gas bottle Composite can be pre-ordered at speidersport.no and delivered to Speider-sport on the plaza. Remember to select Pick up at the national camp in Gjøvik as the shipping option at checkout. The bottle is sold complete with gas. There is no deposit on the bottle. Group areas
A map with details of where each group will have their camp site will not be published before arrival to the camp.
Guard
Speidernes landsleir has guards who are there to make sure everyone is safe. We have chosen goal 10 - Reduced inequalities, goal 12 - Responsible consumption and production and goal 17 - Partnerships for the goals, as the goals we will work the most towards.
Swapping
Organised swapping of badges will take place in a tent at the plaza.
Swimming
In the center of Gjøvik, there are swimming opportunities at the Fastland friluftsbasseng (outdoor swimming pool) or Rambekkvika by Mjøsa. There is regular bus transport from the camp to the center of Gjøvik. A leader from the group is responsible for the scouts swimming. Scouts may only swim under the supervision of a leader. Max 10 scouts per leader. See City bus for information about travelling.
The leadership adventure
Leaders can take badges as visible proof of their commitment and effort. All the leaders must contribute a few volunteer hours (the leader's contribution) outside the group during the camp week. This gives you the opportunity to experience the camp from a new angle, and maybe you'll learn something new! A new challenge! There will be themed gatherings, courses, and the opportunity to get to know more scout leaders. In the plaza you will find the leader's tent with coffee, waffles, good conversations, room for reflection and its own library
The Scout museum
The Scout Museum has its own stand on the plaza. Learn about scouting/guiding and exhibitions about former national and international camps in Norway. This year marks 50 years since the World Scout Jamboree was held in Lillehammer. The Scout Museum's Woodcraft Workshop offers various activities throughout the camp week. There will be sale of badges, t-shirts and caps.
Theft
Theft should be reported to the camp and will be reported to the police. This also applies to stealing of camp property (including camp flags). See Rules.
Tidying
Keep the camp area tidy. Pick up litter after yourself (and others if necessary). Make sure to bring all your things back from activities. If you find or are missing something, contact the Plaza Info point. See Lost and Found.
Toilet
The toilets in the camp area are vacuum toilets. Only toilet paper should be thrown into the toilets. There are separate bins to dispose of hygiene items etc.
Trefoil/Gilwell gathering
Scouts who have completed Trefoil/Gilwell training are invited to a gathering at Basecamp in the plaza on Sunday 6 July at 19.30-21.20. No need to sign up in advance.
Visitors
The camp is open for visitors every day from 07.30 to 23.00. Parts of the camp are on an overnight hike Monday to Friday. Visitors should make an appointment with the group about which day to visit. Parking for visitors - see parking.
Waste management
All rubbish must be sorted into 5 categories: residual waste, plastic, paper, glass and food waste. All garbage bags must transparent plastic bags. Biodegradable bags for food waste are not allowed. The groups are responsible for having a waste management system in accordance with this. The camp map (and signs) will indicate where the different types of waste will be delivered. There will also be a collection area for gas cans and batteries.
Water
There will be water stations in the camp area where you can fill water jugs and buckets for the group area. Brushing teeth and washing hands must take place in the group area. See Grease trap and Hand washing.
Wi-Fi
There will be a wireless guest network at the plaza, food distribution tent, info point and rover tavern. With many simultaneous users, speed and stability may be limited.
Wristband
For international participants the wristband will be handed out at check-in. The wristband will have a chip that can be "charged" with money to be used as a means of payment in the camp. Rover and staff have their own colours. The lock indicates whether the scout has accepted beeing photographed or not through the registration in "Min speiding". In the event of a lost wristband, contact the info point. It is important that the user registers name and group at the first charging of the wristband. This will make it possible to transfer the money to a new wristband if it is lost.
