“Kiss and camp”
During arrival on Friday and Saturday, July 4 and 5, and departure on Saturday, July 12, the drop-off and pick-up system at Vind Arena will follow a "kiss and camp" model.
Short-term parking will be available here for unloading and loading gear and people, as well as for check-in. Long-term parking is located at the designated parking areas listed in the overview below.
With 10,000 scouts attending the camp, it’s important not to spend more time than necessary in the "kiss and camp" zone to allow others access.
Parking is located on the opposite side of the road from the arena. It will not be possible to park in the arena’s regular parking lots — only in the orange-marked area shown on the map.
Parking for leaders, rovers, and staff
The camp has several parking areas reserved for week-long parking for rovers, leaders, and staff arriving by car or with a trailer. These parking areas open on Thursday, July 3. Parking is free and located near the city bus stop for Route B41 Gimlevegen–Vind. The Vind Idrettsplass stop is next to the camp.
If these parking areas are full, parking attendants will direct drivers to available alternative locations.
There will be parking attendants on duty during the day on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to help guide traffic. They will hand out a registration form that must be filled out with your name and contact information and placed in the car’s front window.
Parking at Kopperud School is not allowed. This area is used for bus arrivals and must remain clear of parked vehicles.
Click the title of each parking location below to open directions in Google Maps.
Drive to the parking area via Gimlevegen/Brages veg.

We have a limited number of parking spaces available at Vind/GOBB Arena for individuals with special needs. These spots will be monitored by a parking attendant during the day throughout the week. Please note that it is not possible to drive into the camp area.
